This group is a social group for high functioning teens between the ages of 13-21 with developmental disabilities who enjoy recreational outings in the community, like the movies and could benefit from social events in which they have an opportunity to establish a bonding experience (friendship) around similar interests with other teens in their age group. … We'll go with mostly full-service restaurants that require reservations and stick with mostly smaller groups (i.e. 6-12 people as larger group reservations during the day are harder to come by, but we still might try!). We'll start with Sundays once a month and depending on the demand/interest/suggestions/you we'll mix it up and go from there. Members are highly encouraged to help organize and host events.
